    Progress Evaluations

    No grades or report card are given at MSC. Part of our mission at this school is to encourage students to learn for the pleasure of learning. This kind of learning cannot be defined by a grade. The students learn to ask themselves, “Have I done the best I can?” They are rewarded not by a letter grade but from an internal feeling of accomplishment.

    Parent and teacher conferences are scheduled throughout the year with teachers providing information about the progress of each student. While each teacher plans a regular conference schedule, additional conferences may be scheduled at any time by a parent. Written information concerning your child’s achievements in the Montessori curriculum and relative to students of the same age will be provided upon request.
