How to Resolve a Problem

Occasionally a problem arises concerning your child and the school. The parent's first step is to talk directly with the teacher. Often a conference will enable the teacher and parent to put plans into effect that will resolve the problem.

If a teacher conference does not resolve the situation, the parent should contact the parent liaison member of the school's board of directors. He or she will be happy to talk with you by phone or meet for a conference. Please see the board of directors listing to identify the school's parent liaison.

If the issue remains unresolved, the parent may present the situation at a school board meeting. Parents should feel free to talk openly with teachers, the parent liaison, and the board of directors. Our greatest wish is to make the school a place where students thrive.
