    Prospective Parent

    Dear Parent,

    We at the Montessori School of Columbia would love to share this "best kept secret in Columbia" with you and your family. We invite you to come for a visit. Please call our administrator, Marla Schoolmeester, at 803-783–8838 or e-mail her to schedule a tour of the programs. The normal course of events includes an initial tour of the school by parents and then an extended visit by the child. 

    To apply for admission, parents must complete an application form. Our teachers will contact the child's previous teacher as a reference. Then the board of directors will make an admission decision. MSC gives preference in admission decisions to students with previous Montessori experience and to children who have siblings at the school.

    Once a child is admitted, parents must complete the parent contract and pay a nonrefundable registration fee.  Our fees and tuition for the 2007-2008 schoolyear are available online.

    Thank you for your interest in our unique school. MSC offers children a foundation for a learning that sustains them for a lifetime. We look forward to sharing this special place and its remarkable teachers with you and your child.
