Elementary School Program

The elementary program, which serves students from first grade through sixth, features the following:

A comprehensive, integrated curriculum that recognizes the fullness of each student’s abilities.
Concentrated, uninterrupted work time that allows students to become immersed in subjects of study
Individualized attention to each student's needs and strengths
Experiential learning and self-paced study
Multi-sensory materials that lead children from the concrete to the abstract. Of particular note, students use Montessori manipulatives highly acclaimed within the greater educational community for their effectiveness in teaching mathematics, geometry, and grammar.
An emphasis on communication skills, with extensive writing, public speaking and drama projects
A dynamic introduction to scientific inquiry
