Heather Showman graduated from Dreher in 2001, and then with a B.A. from Indiana University in 2005. Her diploma is still in the trunk of her brother's car. After graduation she moved briefly to Tibet, then returned to Indiana and worked in a youth shelter for at-risk kids. Last year she began the M.S.W. program at the University of Michigan and will graduate in 2009. She is interning as a foster care/substance abuse therapist for children and adolescents in central Michigan. Heather is tentatively planning on moving to New Orleans after graduation to get some experience before applying for international social work positions.
Jamie Showman received both his Bachelor's and Master's degree from Georgia Tech. He has lived in Seoul, South Korea for the last four years where he teaches English, studies Korean, and adopts stray street cats. He met and married an absolutely gorgeous woman, Soyeon, in April of 2007. They are currently spending six weeks traveling India and Nepal before moving to New Mexico at the end of this month. He is planning on getting a "real" job and put his degree to use. There are rumors of a PhD in the near future.

Kitsy Armato graduated from USC with a BA in Art. Immediately following, she moved to Seattle, where her older brother Steven also lives.
Kitsy's 5th grade graduation skit prediction for her future as a painter came true. She has a website www.kitsyart.com with some of her artwork. Currently, Kitsy is working at an art gallery in Seattle, living with her spoiled dog, Winnie, and dating a wonderful boy named Sky.
She misses Carolina's warmth and CANNOT wait to go to the beach in May!
Steven Armato has been working for Amazon.com as a Software Development Manager for 6 years. He married Lissa in September. Steven and Lissa are now expecting their first baby in August.
Josie Richstad graduated from Columbia and is now in her third year of the PhD program in English at UCLA. She is taking oral exams at the beginning of May, and will have 2 to 3 years after that. In theory, she works on the nineteenth-century British novel, particularly the fashionable novel of the 1820s-40s (none of which you've probably ever read, because they've all been out of print since, like, 1896). She also spends a lot of time as a TA, grading absurd student papers and making facile analogies between early 19C literature and pop culture.
Ricky Richstad graduated with a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Peabody. She is working as a software engineer in the DVD/Blu-Ray group at Sony Pictures. She has a dog, and walks to work. Walking to work may not seem that interesting, but if you live or have ever lived in LA you will understand that it's the most exciting thing ever to happen.
Kenny Richstad graduated from Tufts with a degree in Japanese, and is teaching various types of martial arts in LA.
Jordan Scarborough is finishing her degree this May in English at the College of Charleston. She has a cat named Mimi, and her parked car seems to be a target for reckless drivers.
Walker Scarborough graduated in Environmental Education from the University of Montana and he is getting married to a fabulous girl named Kristin. He recently got a job as a field technician, studying the affect of drought on a particular weed on Mount Sentinal. He still lives in Missoula, MT.
Patricia Scarborough went to undergrad and law school at USC, and then went to UF law school to specialize in tax law. She's currently a lawyer in Charleston, SC and just bought her first home on James Island.
Randall (JR) Scarborough is in the Marine Reserves and is scheduled to deploy to Iraq in the next few months. He got married to a lovely lady named Melanie a couple years ago and they have two boys, Mason and Charlie, and another bun in the oven.
Shannon Scarborough received her degree in Psychology from USC, and now she is the Internet Sepcialist/Webmaster for CBS Radio in Charlotte, NC. She manages the six radio station websites for the CBS Radio cluster. Even though her job is based in Charlotte, she is living in Gainesville and working from her home office while her partner completes a residency at UF. Shannon hopes to move back to SC, and maybe someday become a Montessori teacher. She has two dogs, two cats and a bunny.
